McKain's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McKain was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Murphy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Olson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murphy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Murphy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Olson connects with a decent elbow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Murphy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Olson throws a strike aimed at the side of Murphy's head but Murphy avoids it well.

Olson is working to tighten is grip on Murphy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Murphy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Olson is really squeezing tight and eventually Murphy passes out! Olson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
