The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim throws a sloppy head kick and Mcracken moves out of range easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shannon is defended easily by Rivers.
Shannon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rivers.
Shannon shoots for a double leg takedown but Rivers sprawls well. He's pushed Shannon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rivers misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Shannon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rivers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shannon is in Rivers's guard.
Shannon wants to pass the guard but Rivers is keeping the position.

Rivers is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Shannon rolls with it to try and escape but Rivers cranks on the arm and Shannon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
