The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dan tries to clinch up but Send circles away and keeps his distance.
Dan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Send misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Send on his heels. He'll look to pass Send's guard now, I'm sure.
Dan distracts Send with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Send controls Dan momentarily but Dan frees himself.
Send looks winded!
Send working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dan.
Send utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dan trying to control but Send is working from the bottom.
Dan tries to free his leg and advance position but Send is retaining full guard.

Dan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Send is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dan, into his guard.
Dan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Send!
Dan with shots to the head and body - Send looks very uncomfortable down there.

Dan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Send is surviving well by controlling Dan's body position as best he can.
Dan wants to control the pace but Send is squirming around nicely.
Dan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Send is bucking up trying to escape but Dan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Dan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Send badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dan around the waist but Dan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dan is the winner by TKO! Dan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Upshaw throws a hook but Williams avoids it easily.

Upshaw drops Williams with a nice combination! Upshaw dives into Williams's guard, looking to finish!

Williams is rocked!

It looks like Lou Williams has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Upshaw seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Courtney Upshaw.

Williams fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Upshaw avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Upshaw moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Williams! Upshaw continues to tee off on Williams, landing with a left and a right! Upshaw connects with a right hand that leaves Williams sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Upshaw!

Lockwood throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bulldog.

A jab and a right hook connect and Bulldog buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bulldog!! Bulldog is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lockwood throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
