The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Gustafsson.

Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Silva has picked Gustafsson up - he's going for a ride! Silva dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Gustafsson looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gustafsson is looking to improve his position.
Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Silva is keen to just control but Gustafsson is a slippery customer.
Gustafsson won't allow Silva to pass to mount.
Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gustafsson keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Anderson Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gustafsson's waist but Gustafsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gustafsson enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gustafsson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gustafsson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silva doesn't defend quickly enough and Gustafsson has managed to lock this one up! Can Silva escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gustafsson on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnage on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Carnage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carnage shoots in but no luck this time.
Carnage shoots for a takedown but Velko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Velko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Velko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carnage circles away quickly and effectively.
Carnage fails to land the takedown.
Rory Velko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reefer Carnage.
Velko misses with a two punch combination.
Velko lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Reefer Carnage has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carnage throws a sloppy head kick and Velko moves out of range easily.
Carnage dodges the punch combination from Velko.

Velko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carnage.
Velko throws a combination. Carnage tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Horrible takedown by Carnage or perhaps it was just good defense by Velko which made him look bad.
Velko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carnage.
Carnage has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Velko.
Carnage moves in looking to clinch but Velko pushes him off.
Carnage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Velko avoids it really well and circles away.
Carnage shoots and misses
and Velko counters with a three punch combo that has Carnage backing up. Carnage nods at Velko to acknowledge the strikes.
Carnage is looking to clinch.

Carnage shoots in for a takedown but Velko shows good takedown defense.
Carnage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Carnage looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Velko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carnage eats them both and turns towards Velko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Velko pushes Carnage away with a front kick.
Velko swinging wildly here.
Velko misses with the combination.
Carnage shoots in for a double leg but Velko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Velko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carnage in his tracks.
Carnage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Velko.
Carnage is trying desperately to land a takedown but Velko is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Carnage.
Carnage throws a sloppy head kick
and Velko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Velko lands a big head kick that sends Carnage tumbling to the mat! Velko takes a step backwards and waves Carnage back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Velko throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Carnage is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ozone loads up on a big right hand but Burkell slips the punch.
Burkell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Burkell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ozone is trying to defend but Burkell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Burkell moves nicely into side control.
Ozone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Burkell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ozone to his feet.

Ozone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Burkell to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Burkell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ozone is keeping the position for now.

Ozone drops Burkell with a beautiful combination! Burkell stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ozone is looking for the KO!

Burkell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ozone sprawls well. Ozone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burkell gets slowly back to his feet.
Burkell is still on wobbly legs! Can Ozone finish him?
Ozone throws a nice looking combination but Burkell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Burkell seems to have recovered his senses.
Burkell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ozone sprawls well. Ozone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burkell gets slowly back to his feet.
Clayton Ozone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Burkell.
Ozone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Burkell momentarily.

Ozone cracks Burkell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Burkell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ozone finish him?
Ozone drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Burkell's head, knocking him out cold! Ozone is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Clayton Ozone bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Garret knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gleeson on the ground.

Gleeson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gleeson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Garret. Garret obviously looking to wear him down.

Garret goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Garret rushes Gleeson with punches - Gleeson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gleeson goes down! Garret follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
