Gleeson shoots in for a takedown but Slaughter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gleeson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slaughter misses with a two punch combination.
Slaughter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gleeson was well out of range. Poor timing from Slaughter.

Garret closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Amodu swats away the attempt to clinch by Garret.
A combination from Amodu does no damage.
Garret wants to clinch up but Amodu keeps it at a distance.
Amodu throws a left and a right that both miss

and Garret holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Garret jumps guard and drags Amodu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Amodu wants to stand and escape but instead Garret has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Garret is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Amodu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Amodu has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Garret working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amodu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amodu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Amodu rolls with it to try and escape but Garret cranks on the arm and Amodu is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
