 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takayoshi shoots in and gets a takedown into Credival's guard. Credival utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Takayoshi throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takayoshi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Takayoshi throws a big right hand that misses. Takayoshi throws a big right hand that misses. Takayoshi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Credival throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

 We're going to have a standup here because Kido Takayoshi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Takayoshi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Credival closes this distance looking for a takedown but Takayoshi circles away. Credival rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takayoshi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takayoshi dives in and scores a takedown into Credival's guard. Takayoshi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Takayoshi postures up.

Credival throwing strikes but missing. Credival trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Credival wants to control from the top but Takayoshi keeps moving. Credival loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Credival trying to control but Takayoshi is working from the bottom. Takayoshi has his hands on Credival's head, controlling the position.

Henry Loiseau dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mickey Halliday's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Loiseau connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Halliday tumbling to the canvas! Loiseau pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Halliday was done - good stoppage!

Garza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Garza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Clinchmasters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Garza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Garza lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Clinchmaster is looking to clinch but Garza is avoiding it.

 Clinchmaster is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garza dances in with a quick combination. Clinchmaster is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Garza snaps Clinchmaster's head back. Clinchmaster stumbles backwards against the cage. Garza steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Clinchmaster's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Clinchmaster just didn't come prepared.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Bastard. Bastard tries to bum rush Zulu with a series of wild strikes but Zulu uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bastard scores with a jab. Zulu dodges the punch combination from Bastard.
Bastard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bastard looks to land a right hand but Zulu moved out of range.
Zulu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bastard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zulu is in Bastard's guard. Zulu is pushing down on Bastard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bastard is fighting to maintain full guard but Zulu has managed to sneak the leg through. Zulu wants to control but Bastard is keeping him busy.
Zulu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Zulu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Zulu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connemara misses with a wild body shot. Hatfield on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Connemara just misses with a punch to the body.
Hatfield uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Connemara. Connemara throws a right and a left that both miss. Hatfield dives in and grabs Connemara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Connemara pushes down on Hatfield's head and hops out. Connemara connects with a solid leg kick. Connemara dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Connemara connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Connemara moves into range and clinches up with Hatfield. Connemara lands a right hand. Hatfield is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Connemara gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hatfield tries for a takedown but Connemara manages to get underhooks.

Hatfield drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Connemara gets the underhooks and prevents it.
