Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheer Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kong Po had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Sheer Bum acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Po stalks Bum and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bum's face. Bum staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Sheer Bum has been cut.
Po cracks Bum with a good jab.

Po closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Po tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Po has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Po is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bum is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Van Damme stuffs the takedown attempt from Suck. Suck gets slowly back to his feet.

Van Damme closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Van Damme misses with a punch to the body.

Van Damme's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice body kick there by Van Damme.
Suck has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Van Damme.
Van Damme feints a jab promting Suck to slip. Van Damme then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Suck slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like You Suck has been cut.
Suck takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suck doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Van Damme counters with a head kick. That will keep Suck thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Van Damme uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Suck has time to react.

Van Damme lands a brutal head kick. Suck looks out on his feet and Van Damme throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

That was a close second round but I would say that Clay Guida will probably get the nod.

Trig got a little sloppy there for a moment and Staunton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trig has managed to get both his arms back between Staunton's legs - danger averted.
