The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas throws a right hand that Bright ducks under and follows up with a left that Bright also avoids with ease.
Bright slips a jab and a cross from Lucas.
Bright fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bright throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Lionel Lucas has been cut.

Lucas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bright on the ground.
It looks like Bright might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lucas tries to pull guard but Bright forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Bright has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lucas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

and Bright counters with a left right combination that sends Lucas crashing to the mat - Bright wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Lucas out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Me Gusta seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guy closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Koscheck! Guy dives in looking to finish! Koscheck is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
