The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Raines thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Blue if he has to take too many more of those.
Blue tries for a takedown but Raines circles away easily

and Raines moves into the clinch.

Raines pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raines has his hands on Blue's head, controlling the position.

Blue drops back, looking for a kneebar! Raines looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Raines looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Raines!
Raines cracks Blue with a big right hand but Blue just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

It looks like Boydy Blue has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Raines scores with punches from side control.

Blue throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Blue shoots for a double leg takedown but Raines sprawls well. He's pushed Blue's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Xavier Raines has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boydy Blue.

Blue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Raines swivels and escapes.
Blue looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raines is fending him off so far but Blue persists. Nope, Raines circles away and we're back to standing.
Raines slaps away a takedown attempt from Blue, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blue looks gassed!

Blue tries to sprawl but Raines drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Blue is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Raines is tapping! Great win for Blue!

Laar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Diabolus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laar manages to avoid it.
Laar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Diabolus eats them both and turns towards Laar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Diabolus lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Laar's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Laar has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Diabolus.

Diabolus and Laar are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Diabolus throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Laar into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Diabolus knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Warrior has hold of Makazaki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Makazaki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Warrior cranks the arm and Makazaki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Makazaki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Adams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Axxion defends it nicely.
Axxion scores with a one two! Adams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Axxion throws a leg kick which misses Adams's front leg but catches the back leg as Adams tries to avoid it.
Axxion tries to clinch but Adams is having none of it.
Axxion scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Adams enables Axxion to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adams manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Adams wants to stand but Axxion is controlling the position.
Axxion scoring with punches to the head and body.

Adams has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Axxion off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Axxion shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Adams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Axxion has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Adams to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Axxion is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Adams pulls down on the head and he's put Axxion to sleep! This one is all over!
