Evangelisti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hilkuri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That kick from Evangelisti tenderised Hilkuri's leg. Hilkuri is trying to keep his angry face on.

Pentti Hilkuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Evangelisti lands a big right hand that sends Hilkuri crashing to the mat! Evangelisti stays standing though and waves Hilkuri back to his feet!
Hilkuri is rocked!
Evangelisti darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Hilkuri's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Evangelisti before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
