Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Madison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Norris!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison moves out of range of the body kick from Norris.
Norris lands a nice hook to Madison's body. Madison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Madison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Norris circles away.

Norris gets caught napping as Madison dives in and scores a takedown. Norris manages to retain guard.
Norris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Madison is looking to work some ground and pound but Norris has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Norris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Norris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Madison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Norris is tightening it up a little... Madison has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Madison reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Madison taps out! Nice BJJ there by Norris!

After the fight, Chuck Norris was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Simon Phoenix was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ikswogor walks into a left hand.
Ikswogor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Phoenix circles away.
Ikswogor walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Phoenix throws a big shot that misses.
A jab from Phoenix does it's job there.
Phoenix throws a nice looking combination but Ikswogor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Phoenix looks to throw the jab but Ikswogor is out of range.
Phoenix displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ikswogor.
Phoenix stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Szakul Ikswogor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ikswogor shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Szakul Ikswogor has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ikswogor moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Phoenix sizes up Ikswogor with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Phoenix dips to his left and cracks Ikswogor with an uppercut!
Ikswogor fails to land the takedown.
Phoenix lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Oh Ikswogor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ikswogor looks up at the clock. Bad move! Phoenix lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ikswogor. Phoenix pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

It looks like Worrell might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Khalidov Senior, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
