The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rourke back to the cage. Johnson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No luck for Rourke with that takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Rourke or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.
Johnson scores with the left hand. Rourke knows he should have avoided that one.
Rourke swinging wildly here.
Johnson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rourke.
Rourke walks into a straight right hand from Johnson.
Johnson feints and then cracks Rourke's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rourke down.
Johnson lands an overhand right.

Rourke tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Rourke is just out of range.
Rourke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Josh Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Rourke.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Johnson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Johnson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Johnson.

Rourke seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Johnson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Rourke is backing up but Johnson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Rourke covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Johnson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Signal works to advance to full mount. Man defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Man has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Signal has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Man is in real trouble here. Signal gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Man is tapping out! Signal wins by rear naked choke!

The ref is looking closely - Cat is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Cat is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

and Chair counters with a good low kick that Jane was not able to check.
Jane looks to land a left hand but Chair moved out of range nicely.

Chair finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mary Jane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chair misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jane.
Jane lands a jab to Chair's midsection.
Chair shoots in looking for a takedown. Jane tries to sprawl out of it but Chair keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jane gets caught napping as Chair dives in and scores a takedown. Jane manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jane manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chair manages to get himself to full guard.

enabling Jane to counter with a crisp jab.
Chair throws a lazy uppercut
and Jane counters with a straight right hand.

That has opened up Carpet Chair's cut even more.

Chair on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chair gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Chair throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jane counters with a big right hand! Oh Chair is in trouble here! Jane follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
