The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aldo was well out of range. Poor timing from Cotto.
Cotto tries to close the distance and clinch but Aldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aldo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cotto scores with a jab to the body.
Cotto looks to throw the jab but Aldo is out of range.
Aldo shoots in but Cotto avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Aldo slips a jab and a cross from Cotto.

Cotto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aldo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Qushairy tries for a takedown but De La Vega sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Qushairy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Qushairy in particular looking to stall.

Qushairy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Qushairy pushes a forearm under De La Vega's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, De La Vega is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Bashor feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Filipovic's calf.

Bashor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Filipovic. That did some damage!
