Jaeger lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hummels! More strikes land and this one is all over! Jaeger jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Locker throws a right and a left that Box avoids nicely.
Locker connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Box tumbling to the canvas! Locker pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Box was done - good stoppage!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phone throws a series of punches but MacDonald moves out of range.

MacDonald gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Phone tries to score a body lock takedown but MacDonald shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
MacDonald makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Phone misses with some punches.
Phone jumps guard but MacDonald turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
MacDonald lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
MacDonald lands a right hand that snaps the head of Phone backwards.
MacDonald misses with a hook from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, MacDonald creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Phone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eye Phone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
MacDonald makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Phone wants the takedown. MacDonald is fighting it off but Phone persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in MacDonald's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Phone makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Phone works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Phone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Phone in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. MacDonald tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Phone!

Eye Phone decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Morris comes to the cage accompanied by MMMBop. Banks has chosen The Gambler as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bolt Morris has the better chin. Banks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Banks misses with a two punch combination.
A lazy left from Morris finds it's target.
Morris thuds a left hand into Banks's body.
Banks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Banks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morris.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Morris and Banks goes tumbling to the canvas! Morris follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Banks is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Morris passes to side control.
Morris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Banks keeps working.
Banks wants to get back to his feet.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks wants to get back to his feet.
Banks takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Banks is still in real trouble! Can Morris finish him?
Morris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morris is putting a hurting on Banks here, landing some big shots from side control.

Morris lands a strong strike to the head of Banks. That's dazed him! Morris looking to finish here. Banks is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Morris lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
