Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Claudio Marchisio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Sekyere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marchisio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Invincible. Sekyere has chosen Clique as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sekyere tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Marchisio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Marchisio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sekyere, pushing him back against the cage.
Sekyere wants to get back to striking at distance but Marchisio won't allow it.

Marchisio has hold of one of Sekyere's legs. Sekyere is fighting the takedown attempt but Marchisio gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Marchisio decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sekyere, up you get!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sekyere enables Marchisio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sekyere manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Marchisio's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Marchisio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sekyere for as long as he can get away with.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pitera moves out of range as Sterling strikes.
Pitera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pitera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sterling closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pitera is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sterling's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Sterling throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pitera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pitera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

I think Freedmen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hero by Skillet. Poddubny has chosen Champion Of The Champions as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

It looks like Ivan Poddubny has been cut.
Poddubny switches off momentarily and Freedmen cracks him with a monster right hand! Poddubny topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Freedmen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Freedmen!
