Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nightcrawler. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wagner slips a jab from Sato. Wagner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sato sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wagner misses with an uppercut. Sato saw that one coming. Wagner throws out a loose jab but Sato uses good head movement to avoid it. Sato avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sato with a nice cross.
It looks like Kurt Wagner has been cut. Wagner throws a hook but Sato blocks it. Wagner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big left from Sato misses. Sato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Wagner with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sato to score with a decent uppercut. Wagner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sato slips a jab and a cross from Wagner.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sato comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Wagner is breathing heavily. Sato uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sato drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Wagner right on the button. Wagner goes down! Sato follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sato gets the win via TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters throws a head kick that misses. Prasoetram moves into the clinch. Prasoetram lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Richard Winters has been cut. Prasoetram breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Prasoetram shoots in but no luck this time. Prasoetram will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Winters throws a series of strikes that have Prasoetram backpedaling.

Khavin keeps the fight on the outside. Prasoetram tries to clinch but Khavin is having none of it. Khavin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. A decent looking cross lands there for Khavin. Khavin lands a glancing blow to the side of Prasoetram's head. Prasoetram takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dent wants it to stay on the feet. Dent scores with a hook to the body. Patricia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A left and a right from Dent both land. Nice combination. Patricia throws the kick towards the body but Dent avoids it. Dent swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Red Patricia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patricia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dent defends it nicely. Patricia takes a head kick and keeps coming.

That's better than Allon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Allon wants to control the pace but Kitagami is squirming around nicely. Allon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kitagami has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kitagami rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Allon wants to work for an arm triangle but Kitagami is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allon works his foot free and advances to mount. Allon controlling his opponent. Kitagami really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allon has hold of Kitagami's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kitagami manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allon wants to control the pace but Kitagami is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
