That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Micah Magnum.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nawrocki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nawrocki wants to sweep but no luck.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Nawrocki is keeping the position.
Nawrocki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.
Nawrocki is pushing down on Smith's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smith is fighting to maintain full guard but Nawrocki has managed to sneak the leg through.
Piotr Nawrocki is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Nawrocki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nawrocki frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nawrocki trying to control but Smith is having none of it.
Nawrocki throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
