and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Birchmont takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Myles swats away the attempt to clinch by Birchmont.
Birchmont checks the leg kick nicely there.

It looks like Skyler Myles has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Myles throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Birchmont stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Birchmont might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Myles throws a combination. Birchmont tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Myles is looking to wear down Birchmont with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Birchmont clobbers Myles with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Gray Son showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Melendez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is El Coo Cooi . Reyes has chosen All the Above as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
