 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Earth fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Earth stuffs the takedown attempt from Rivera. Rivera gets slowly back to his feet. Rivera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Earth defends it nicely. Earth shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rivera but Rivera pushes him off and we're back to square one. Earth closes the distance and clinches up with Rivera, looking for a takedown. Earth pushes Rivera against the cage but Rivera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rivera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Earth is trying to escape the mount.
Rivera with shots to the head and body - Earth looks very uncomfortable down there. Rivera is landing with some decent strikes but Earth is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Earth working to try and regain half guard.
Rivera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Earth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Earth is working hard here to advance position.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marley avoids a kick to the body.
Marley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away. Marley misses with a looping left. Marley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thompson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marley slaps away a takedown attempt from Thompson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Thompson wants to clinch. Marley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No luck for Thompson with that takedown attempt.
Thompson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Marley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thompson is in Marley's guard. Thompson content to stall in guard here. Thompson wants to control from the top but Marley keeps moving.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kayan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Matthew paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kayan works over Matthew's head and body with a nice combination. Kayan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kayan shoots in looking for a takedown. Matthew tries to sprawl out of it but Kayan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Matthew manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kayan pushes Matthew up against the cage in a clinch. Kayan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kayan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Matthew down to the mat. Matthew avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kayan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matthew is looking to take a break and control but Kayan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kayan is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Matthew is defending well. Matthew avoiding damage as Kayan throws knees to the body.

Matthew wants to clinch up but Kayan keeps it at a distance. Kayan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kayan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kayan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Adam Matthew overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Matthew missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kayan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Matthew with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kayan wants to control the position but Matthew says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kayan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matthew. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Lance misses with a head kick.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Ramirez tries to work over Green's front leg with a kick but Green checks it. Ramirez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Green on the side of the head. Ramirez throws a hook but Green avoids it easily. Green throws a nice looking combination but Ramirez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ramirez misses with an uppercut. A head kick misses from Green. Ramirez sizes up Green with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Ramirez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ramirez throws a right and a left that both miss. Ramirez misses with a wild combination.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Alivic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dee Jay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sejo Alivic. Alivic shoots in but Jay avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jay dives in and scores a takedown into Alivic's guard.

Jay shoots in and bounces Alivic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jay lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jay not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Alivic is looking for a triangle here but Jay uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Jay controlling the position from side mount. Jay lands a decent elbow from side control. Jay is chipping away with strikes.

 Alivic is rocked! Jay is landing with some decent strikes but Alivic is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Alivic is still in real trouble! Can Jay finish him? Jay controlling from mount. Jay postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Alivic bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Jay and the fight is over!
