The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gimmick misses with a looping left.
Gimmick connects with a right hand. Sol shakes it off.
Sol takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gimmick.
Gimmick lands a nice shot to the body.
Gimmick throws a looping overhand right but Sol ducks down to avoid it.

Gimmick sends Sol crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gimmick is motioning to the referee to let Sol up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Sol is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gimmick cracks Sol with a left hook right on the temple and Sol goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Gimmick lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Sol is OK!

and Marx counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Marx slips a jab from Punch.
Punch misses with an uppercut. Marx saw that one coming.
Punch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marx throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marx throws a solid leg kick but Punch takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marx.
Punch takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Marx avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Punch is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
A slow jab from Marx misses its intended target.
Mark Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marx throws a chopping leg kick but Punch manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Punch shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Marx is on queer street and Punch is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masoe misses the body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Masoe lands a lovely overhand right.
Siegfried avoids a kick to the body.
Siegfried scores with a nice right hand.
Masoe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Siegfried.
Masoe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Siegfried looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Siegfried lunges at Masoe with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masoe's hand.
Masoe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Siegfried, right into the meat.
Masoe misses the shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Siegfried.
Siegfried dips to his left and cracks Masoe with an uppercut!
Siegfried misses with a head kick.
Masoe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Siegfried is looking to score with low kicks.
Siegfried lands a slapping body shot.
Siegfried chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Masoe's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Masoe duly obliges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Siegfried lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Siegfried connects with a leg kick. Masoe looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Siegfried tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Masoe is able to avoid easily.
Masoe pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Siegfried lands a big head kick that sends Masoe tumbling to the mat! Siegfried takes a step backwards and waves Masoe back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Masoe is rocked!
Siegfried connects with an inside leg kick.
Masoe is breathing heavily.
Siegfried looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Siegfried is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Siegfried lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Masoe head around and knocks him out cold! Siegfried hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
