We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nowell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oh Cathay is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nowell scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Nowell winds up and cracks Cathay with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Nowell wants to work for an arm triangle but Cathay is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nowell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cathay does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
