The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey throws a half hearted mid kick.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bailey. Brown shrugs it off though.
Bailey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bailey.
Bailey scores with a head kick. Brown tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bailey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bailey wants it to stay on the feet.

Bailey lands a big head kick that sends Brown tumbling to the mat! Bailey takes a step backwards and waves Brown back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hodges is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hodges looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hodges wants to break free but Jones has control.
Hodges can't get the takedown.
Hodges is looking for a takedown.
Jones tries for a takedown but Hodges manages to get underhooks.

Jones is trying to trip Hodges. He has hold of a leg but Hodges is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Norman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Valentine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Norman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson tries for a takedown but Macca sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Macca is defended easily by Richardson.
Macca tries to clinch up but Richardson circles away and keeps his distance.

Richardson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Macca is pressing down on Richardson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
