Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, T Dawg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Skins! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawg goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Left hook, right uppercut from Dawg. Dawg throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Skins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Skins. Dawg can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Skins controls the pace. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dawg wants to stand but Skins is controlling the position. Skins tries to free his leg and advance position but Dawg is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tony Skins wasn't active enough on the ground. Dawg gets tackled into the cage by Skins. Skins maintains the clinch. Skins is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dawg can't fight it off and eventually Skins manages to take the fight to the floor. Dawg looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dawg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Skins is controlling him. Skins controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Skins pushing down on Dawg's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skins is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dawg! Skins landing strikes from the mount and Dawg is in trouble! This has been an exciting period of action! Dawg avoids a series of strikes thrown by Skins.
Dawg is trying to stand up. Dawg holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Skins tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Skins stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Skins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dawg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dawg is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Skins sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dawg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skins on the ground. Skins works a leg free and moves into half guard. Skins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Skins decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Skins controls the position from side control. Skins stands up and we're back to a striking position. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dawg throws a combination that misses and Skins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Skins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Skins dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Skins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dawg to the mat! Dawg manages to get full guard. Skins tries to free his leg and advance position but Dawg is retaining full guard. Skins looking to sit in guard and control but Dawg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dawg won't allow Skins to sweep him here. Skins controlling Dawg's posture. Skins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dawg stands up and waves to Skins to follow him. A punch combination from Dawg misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skins closes the distance and clinches. Skins tries to pull guard but Dawg won't allow it.

T Dawg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dawg as he jumps to the side. Dawg lands with a right hand. Dawg misses with a double jab.
Skins has a takedown stuffed. T Dawg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Skins. Skins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Skins is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dawg to keep the fight standing. Skins tries for a takedown but Dawg manages to get underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skins jumps guard but Dawg turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Skins looking for a takedown. Skins jumps guard but Dawg stands there with Skins around his waist. Skins gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Skins lands with a light punch inside. A short body shot lands from Skins as the two fighters clinch.
Skins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left lands for Dawg. Dawg scores with a three punch combo!

T Dawg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Skins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dawg as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skins. Dawg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Skins has Dawg up against the cage in a clinch.
Dawg is trying to break the clinch but Skins is controlling him. Skins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dawg chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Skins can pounce on him.

and Skins counters with a body kick that stops Dawg in his tracks momentarily. Skins drives through with a takedown into guard. Skins pushes down on Dawg's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dawg has managed to free his arm - good work. Skins controlling the pace. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Skins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dawg sees it coming and defends easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Skins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Skins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Skins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Skins perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Tony Skins has got the better of the ground game so far. Skins trying to control the action but Dawg is working from the bottom. Skins slips a nice elbow through Dawg's hands, connecting with Dawg's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skins trying to pass the guard but Dawg defending well. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Skins works his way into full mount! Skins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dawg's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skins controlling the pace for now. Skins working the ground and pound effectively.
Skins lands a big shot there that rocks Dawg but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Poor strikes thrown by Skins there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dawg is looking to escape. Skins thowing shots but they're missing. Skins looking to control and managing it successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jim swats him away and circles back towards the center. King will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jim is trying to work for a single leg takedown but King pulls him back up using the underhooks. King is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jim is just too persistent for him and manages to trip King to the mat. King regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jim passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jim trying to control the position but King is working away.

King wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jim.

Nesset tries to bum rush Lotus with a series of wild strikes but Lotus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nesset turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jenkins scores with a hook. Moony does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jenkins lands with a good body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moony shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A shot to the liver by Jenkins. Beautiful body shot. Jenkins lands a glancing blow to the side of Moony's head. Moony tries to move into range but Jenkins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Moony is rocked! Jenkins pounces like a tiger and cracks Moony with a vicious hook! Moony is down but not out! Jenkins follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruffa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Small throws a body punch but Ruffa moves out of range. Small scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ruffa has a takedown stuffed. Small bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ruffa's head backwards.
It looks like Rick Ruffa has been cut. Small is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Small lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ruffa at a distance.
Small thuds his right hand into Ruffa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Small lands a left and a right that send Ruffa crashing to the mat, dazed. Small thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
