And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hulk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slice sprawls well. Slice wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hulk gets slowly back to his feet.
Slice looks to land a combination but Hulk avoids it well.
Slice throws a nice looking combination but Hulk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Slice gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Slice keeping moving, preventing Hulk from controlling successfully.
Hulk slips nicely into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hulk connects with a nice short shot to Slice's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hulk wants to free his trapped foot but Slice is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Slice keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hulk throwing shots but Slice is blocking nicely.
Slice wants to get back to his feet.
Hulk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hulk wants to control the pace but Slice is squirming around nicely.

Hulk scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hulk trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hulk in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Hulk goes for an armbar but Slice turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Slice.
Hulk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hulk pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hulk connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hulk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Slice can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hulk postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Slice in real trouble here! The ref calls for Slice to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maestre Hulk!
Maestre Hulk bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Mclovin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lacerda looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mclovin has control of an arm but Lacerda manages to advance to Mclovin's back!

Lacerda controls Mclovin momentarily but Mclovin frees himself.

Mclovin lying in Lacerda's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Lacerda decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Mclovin taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
