The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bordin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Almeida looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Almeida avoids the head kick by Bordin.
Bordin looks for a takedown but Almeida sprawls well.
Bordin fails with a takedown attempt.

Bordin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bordin tries to score a body lock takedown but Almeida shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bruno Almeida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Bordin.

Bordin is staying active underneath Almeida, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bordin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Almeida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Almeida manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Almeida is looking to defend but Bordin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Almeida! Bordin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Almeida taps out and this one is all over!

I think Stresemann might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Takashi Sorimachi - Poison . Kik mAn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

mAn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stresemann swivels and escapes.

Stresemann waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract mAn. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped mAn to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Kik mAn has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stresemann passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
mAn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stresemann wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The crowd goes nuts as Stresemann knocks mAn out cold with a massive hammerfist! Stresemann Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Onizuka Stresemann tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Dit throws a combination. Pery tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pery gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dit counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Dit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dit tests Pery's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Dit.
Pery on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

A jab-cross combination lands for Dit and sends Pery crashing to the mat! Dit follows him down to the mat - Pery regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Dit lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Pery quite badly. Pery pulls Dit in close trying to recover. Dit postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Pery on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Pery doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

and Ochu comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Shield stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Ochu is on him like rabid pit bull! Shield slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

A looping hook to the body misses from Oliveira. Gomez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oliveira cracks a nice hook into Gomez's ribs.
Gomez scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That kick from Gomez tenderised Oliveira's leg. Oliveira is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Gomez counters with a crisp right hand that drops Oliveira! Gomez lets Oliveira back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Oliveira rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oliveira is breathing heavily.
Gomez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oliveira. That did some damage!
Gomez lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Oliveira - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Gomez!

Jecht loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jecht trying to control but Costa is working from the bottom.
Jecht trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Costa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jecht passes into half guard.
Jecht really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jecht is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Costa!
Jecht breaks from Costa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Costa is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Jecht cracks Costa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
