Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Barbossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadoui comes into the arena with Lights Out blaring out of the sound system. Jake Barbossa struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Hong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spurghoff knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hong is working to tighten is grip on Spurghoff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Spurghoff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hong is really squeezing tight and eventually Spurghoff passes out! Hong breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

It looks like Prime Tyme has been cut.
Tyme with a jab.
A bone on bone clash there as Knocks blocks the leg kick.
Knocks fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tyme is out of range.
Tyme throws a half hearted mid kick.
Knocks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Knocks misses with a body kick.
Tyme missing with a left hand there. Knocks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Knocks connects with a leg kick. Tyme looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A clash of legs there as Knocks blocks the low kick.
Tyme chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Knocks can pounce on him.
Tyme wants to land a leg kick but Knocks is out of range.
Tyme swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tyme crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Knocks - the referee stops the clock and Tyme gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Knocks. Tyme manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Knocks throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Tyme stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Knocks follows into mount!
Tyme is still in real trouble! Can Knocks finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knocks looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Tyme covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Smokey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
