Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sean Parker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker wants to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Parker which made him look bad.
Parker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Parker is holding on here and Johnson must be using up a lot of energy. Parker has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Johnson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
