Nice takedown defense from Pudzianowski. No joy for Vex on that attempt.

Karpanov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Karpanov showed some decent athleticism there.

Vasilyev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Vasilyev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Karpanov pulls his head out easily.
Karpanov is controlling the pace.
Vasilyev moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Vasilyev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vasilyev keeping moving, preventing Karpanov from controlling successfully.
Karpanov wants to get up but he can't break Vasilyev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Vasilyev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karpanov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Karpanov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vasilyev to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Karpanov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vasilyev pulls down on the head and he's put Karpanov to sleep! This one is all over!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miyagi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Miyagi.
Miyagi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kins misses the jab.
A lazy left from Kins finds it's target.
Miyagi is looking to score with low kicks.

Hammerlik walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hammerlik limp body while Einstein jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
