The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guus doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Big to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Izaak Guus has been cut. Big pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Big fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Guus on the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Guus with a poor takedown and Big counters with a right hand to the body. Big cracks Guus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Big has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Guus to stand back up!
Guus is rocked! Big thows a left - swing and a miss! Guus is still on wobbly legs! Can Big finish him? Guus misses with a takedown and Big counters with a big right hand! Oh Guus is in trouble here! Big follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

That made a horrendous noise. Gorilla clinches up against the cage. Ketchum can't break the clinch.
Ketchum is trying to push Gorilla away but Gorilla has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Gorilla manages to break the clinch.
Ketchum misses the shot to the body. Ketchum is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gorilla rather than just go for the knockout. Ketchum showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gorilla.

and Ketchum counters with a right hand to the body. Ketchum goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ketchum lands a nice looking body shot.

Ketchum dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gorilla takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ketchum ducks under a wild hook from Gorilla. Gorilla drives through and clinches with Ketchum against the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ketchum slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Gorilla is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gorilla throws a series of punches but Ketchum moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nickolai Ketchum dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Boda Tau showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Tau is pulling down on Mitrione's head to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mitrione trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tau's guard. Mitrione has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mitrione wants to control from the top but Tau keeps moving. Mitrione wants to get up but he can't break Tau's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tau can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mitrione accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mitrione throws a big right hand that misses. Mitrione has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tau is proving hard to escape from. Tau looking for a sweep. Not yet Tau, not yet. Mitrione throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tau looking for a sweep. Not yet Tau, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mitrione circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tau throws a nice looking combination but Mitrione bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tau shoots in looking for a takedown. Mitrione tries to sprawl out of it but Tau keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mitrione manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The Thai Zombie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ukkonen cracks the inside of Wade's front leg. Wade tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ukkonen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wade somewhat. Ukkonen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ukkonen wants to pass the guard but Wade is defending well. Ukkonen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ukkonen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wade on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wade tries to get out of the position. Ukkonen misses with a head shot. Wade uses the momentum to regain guard. Wade manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ukkonen swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Thomas Wade overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ukkonen is wriggling around trying to escape.

Wade is in the full mount, landing strikes. Wade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ukkonen wants to control but Wade is having none of it. Wade landing strikes from the mount and Ukkonen is in trouble!

Ukkonen is rocked! A nice elbow there by Wade. Ukkonen is still in real trouble! Can Wade finish him? Wade looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ukkonen covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
