The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawakita has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Byrkjelo.
Byrkjelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sawakita's waist but Sawakita gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Byrkjelo off to one side.

Sawakita tries to keep at a distance but Byrkjelo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sawakita steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Byrkjelo's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Byrkjelo just didn't come prepared.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mikkelsen is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Mikkelsen will probably get the nod.

King lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Anhinoit is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
King scores with a couple of good head shots there.
King lands a nice shot to the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
King cracks Anhinoit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Anhinoit tries to hold on but King postures up.
Anhinoit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.
