I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Robert Mathews was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathews shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Storm defends it nicely.
Storm lands with a hook. Mathews tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Storm swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mathews is defended easily by Storm.
Storm rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mathews moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mathews tries to clinch there but Storm circles away.
Storm looks to score with a jab to the body but Mathews is just out of range.
Storm bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mathews's head.
Horrible takedown by Mathews or perhaps it was just good defense by Storm which made him look bad.
Channon Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Mathews.
Mathews shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Storm lands with a nice combination. Mathews backs away looking to recover.

Peters steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Burger's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Burger just didn't come prepared.

Reardon throws a lazy right hand but Slade sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Reardon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Reardon moves into range and clinches up with Slade.

Slade is fighting off a takedown attempt but Reardon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Slade to the mat. Slade regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Han is trying to get back to his feet but Vernon has full control of the position and if anything, Han has just worked his way into a worse spot.
