The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chyn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brandao throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Chyn to counter with a crisp jab.
Chyn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brandao.
Chyn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chyn thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brandao if he has to take too many more of those.
Chyn scores with a jab. Brandao acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Brandao misses with a lunging right hand

and Chyn counters with a single leg into guard. Brandao didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brandao is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Brandao is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Chyn dives into side control.
Brandao is breathing heavily.
The referee asks Chyn politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chyn prefers to stall for the moment though.

Chyn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Brandao gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Chyn connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Chyn working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Brandao turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Chyn off and cradles Brandao's limp body as Chyn celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boy shoots in for a double leg but Delinquent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Delinquent jabs at Boy's body.
Delinquent just misses with a punch to the body.
Boy with a lazy takedown attempt
and Delinquent counters with a nice leg kick.
Boy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Delinquent lands a nice shot that snaps Boy's head back.
Johnny Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Delinquent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Delinquent counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Delinquent sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boy somewhat.
Delinquent throws a nice looking combination but Boy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Delinquent tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Delinquent prevents Boy from breaking the clinch.

Boy pulls guard effortlessly.
Boy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Delinquent decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Boy instigates a clinch.

Boy gets control of Delinquent's arms and successfully pulls guard. Boy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy has a closed guard, preventing Delinquent from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Boy has his foot on Delinquent's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Delinquent works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy wants to hit a switch here but Delinquent passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Boy there!

Delinquent stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Boy tries for a takedown but Delinquent circles away easily
and Delinquent counters with a two punch combo.
Delinquent lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Delinquent. That's going to slow Boy down.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Delinquent cracks Boy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Delinquent is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boy rather than just go for the knockout.

Boy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Delinquent was covering up waiting for the punch and Boy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Boy wants to control from the top but Delinquent keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy wants to pass the guard but Delinquent is keeping the position.
Delinquent pulls Boy in to control the position.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Delinquent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boy looking to sit in guard and control but Delinquent gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boy is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Delinquent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Boy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boy throws a strike but Delinquent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Delinquent dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Boy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Delinquent closes the distance and clinches.
Boy blocking some punches.
Delinquent connects with a knee to the head.
Delinquent tries to land knees in the clinch but Boy avoids the damage to the body.

Boy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boy throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Boy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Delinquent is one step ahead there.
Boy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Boy trying to control the position.

Delinquent has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Delinquent is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boy pulls down on the head and he's put Delinquent to sleep! This one is all over!
