The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halfdead pushes Barksdale up against the cage in a clinch.
Halfdead jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barksdale walks away with a smile on his face. Halfdead gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Halfdead is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Barksdale's half guard.

Halfdead stands up out of the half guard.
Halfdead misses with a two punch combination.

Halfdead closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barksdale to the mat! Barksdale manages to get full guard.
Halfdead slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Barksdale wants to get back to his feet but Halfdead is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Halfdead is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Barksdale is surviving well by controlling Halfdead's body position as best he can.

Barksdale lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barksdale throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Barksdale has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Halfdead to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Barksdale is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Halfdead pulls down on the head and he's put Barksdale to sleep! This one is all over!

Oh Santoizes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Santoizes drops his hands momentarily and Cook needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Santoizes just on the top of the head. Santoizes drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Santoizes - he's done!

Yuffertale drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Decker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yuffertale has Decker in his guard.
