The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a left and a right that both miss

and Clasie counters with a crisp one two that drops Burns! Clasie thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Burns to his feet! Burns is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clasie connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Burns covering up! Clasie comes in with a big uppercut and Burns goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marcel Clasie!
After winning the bout, Marcel Clasie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Buckley has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Sloppy strikes from Brasi. Those never looked like landing.
Buckley moves out of range as Brasi strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Brasi misses the target.
Brasi throws a poor cross that misses

and Buckley counters with a takedown into side control.
Brasi is pushing Buckley's head away, looking to escape. Buckley manages to hold on to the position though.
Buckley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Brasi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Buckley asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Buckley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Brasi pushes Buckley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Buckley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Brasi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buckley on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sykloni throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sykloni works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rain tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sykloni lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rain at a distance.

Sykloni has managed to clinch.
Sykloni lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Sykloni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sykloni scoring well with a low kick there.
Rain shoots for a takedown but Sykloni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rain takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sykloni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rain has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bamboni has his feet on Malapitan's thighs here. He's pushed Malapitan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Malapitan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryfus Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly comes into the arena with Spaceboy blaring out of the sound system. Dominguez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Renegades of Funk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kelly throws out a leg kick but Dominguez moves out of range and Kelly only half commits.

Dominguez moves into range and clinches up with Kelly.
Kelly takes an elbow to the forehead.
Dominguez has a couple of punches blocked by Kelly.

Kelly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kelly scores with a body shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Dominguez.
Kelly walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dominguez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kelly shoots in for a double leg but Dominguez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kelly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dominguez.
Kelly tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly fails to land the takedown.
Good leg kick by Dominguez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dominguez connects with a looping right hand.
Kelly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rico Dominguez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dominguez looks for the body kick but Kelly saw that one coming.
A low kick from Dominguez misses
and Kelly counters with a good low kick that Dominguez was not able to check.
Kelly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dominguez swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryfus Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dominguez scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A right-left combo lands from Dominguez.
Dominguez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dominguez connects with a right hand. Kelly shakes it off.
Kelly buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kelly misses with a low kick.
Dominguez is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Kelly throws a leg kick which misses Dominguez's front leg but catches the back leg as Dominguez tries to avoid it.
Kelly gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dominguez.
Kelly throws a solid leg kick but Dominguez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kelly.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.

Kelly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dominguez did well to prevent Kelly getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kelly missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Dominguez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Kelly works his way into side control.
Dominguez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kelly scores with a couple of short elbows.
The ground and pound from Kelly seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Dominguez is looking to regain half guard here but Kelly keeps moving and retains side control.

Dominguez is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kelly's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kelly! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Dominguez has tapped! This one is allllll over!
