The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beerbom darts in and clinches Lazarus up against the cage.
Beerbom drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lazarus gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lazarus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beerbom avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lazarus has Beerbom pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lazarus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beerbom tumbling to the mat - Lazarus dives into Beerbom's guard.

Lazarus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Beerbom is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lazarus, into his guard.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aleksej Aleksejev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
