Shields has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bagato after a bit of a struggle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart tries to clinch up.
Stewart tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stewart wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bong takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gracie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bong stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.
Bong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left and a right from Gracie both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Billa Bong has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bong throws a head kick that misses.

Bong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bong.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Bong sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gracie connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bong. Bong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bong connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Bong.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bong napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bong is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bong avoid being mounted?

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bong is controlling Gracie's trapped leg to prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bong keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bong is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him

Billa Bong has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A head kick misses from Bong.
Gracie misses with a body shot.
Gracie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bong takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bong pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bong takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bong throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bong throws a leg kick that misses.

Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Gracie maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bong could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gracie has cracked it and Bong is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gracie!
