The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Matos, as that shot connected.
Pitbull shoots in but Matos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pitbull tries to clinch
and Matos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pitbull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pitbull has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pitbull takes one on the button.

Matos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pitbull to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Matos wants to get back to his feet but Pitbull is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Matos displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pitbull.

Matos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pitbull. Pitbull circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Pitbull gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Matos misses with a hook.

Pitbull showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matos.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pitbull. Matos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pitbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Matos sprawls well. He's pushed Pitbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pitbull throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matos's waist but Matos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pitbull off to one side.
Pitbull will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pitbull moves forwards but Matos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pitbull shoots in looking for a takedown but Matos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pitbull's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Matos leaves Pitbull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Matos lands with a straight right. Pitbull didn't see that one coming.
A right-left combo lands from Matos.
Matos lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Matos.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pitbull will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pitbull misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Matos might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Matos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ronaldo Pitbull will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pitbull closes this distance looking for a takedown but Matos circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Matos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pitbull has time to react.
Matos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pitbull's head backwards.
The fighters circle momentarily. Matos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vitor Matos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Matos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

mAn has a closed guard, preventing Kon from standing up.
mAn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kik mAn wasn't active enough on the ground.

mAn looking for a guillotine here but Kon defends easily.
Kon throws an elbow that misses. mAn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kon's guard. Nice move by mAn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
mAn trying to control the position from guard on top but Kon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

mAn stands up from Kon's guard - mAn perhaps looking for a knockout.

Kon gets the takedown into side control.
mAn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
mAn tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Kon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… mAn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by mAn and Kon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
mAn is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kon connects with a decent elbow.

Dio feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kirillov sprawling to the canvas! Kirillov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dio finish him?!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kirillov leaves his chin hanging out and Dio seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kirillov crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Gutierrez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gutierrez has Yay in his guard.
Yay cracks Gutierrez with a solid left hand.

Yay throws an elbow that misses. Gutierrez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Yay's guard. Nice move by Gutierrez!

Gutierrez's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Yay is holding on here and Gutierrez must be using up a lot of energy. Yay has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gutierrez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
