Halo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Molodonez.

Molodonez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Halo finds it's way round the side to connect with Molodonez's head.

Molodonez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mercier throws a body punch but Carver moves out of range.
Carver uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mercier.
Mercier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Carver throws a big shot that misses.
Carver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mercier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carver.
Carver throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Carver shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mercier pinned against the cage. Mercier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Carver takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carver throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mercier stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Carver lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carver ducks right into an uppercut from Mercier.
Carver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carver throws a body punch but Mercier moves out of range.
Carver moves away from the strike by Mercier.
Carver takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mercier takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carver has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mercier finds it's way round the side to connect with Carver's head.
Carver lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mercier misses with a wild combination.
Carver throws a push kick but Mercier slaps the foot to one side.
Mercier slips a jab and a cross from Carver.
A slow jab from Mercier misses its intended target.

Carver shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carver was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mercier wants to try and get back to his feet.
Carver misses with a head shot.

Riffel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ryan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Riffel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Riffel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riffel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ryan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick!
