Bunder steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Kolec's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Kolec just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Birmiski.
Powers throws a right hand that Birmiski ducks under and follows up with a left that Birmiski also avoids with ease.
Birmiski thows a body kick. Powers tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Powers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Birmiski gets a clinch.
Powers trying to control the position but instead, Birmiski has worked for underhooks and has pushed Powers into the cage.
Birmiski lands a nice uppercut.

Birmiski lands a body punch in the clinch.
Birmiski cracks Powers with a nice body shot.

Birmiski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Powers misses with an uppercut.
Powers throws a looping overhand right but Birmiski ducks down to avoid it.

Birmiski tries to close the distance and clinch but Powers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Powers avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Powers feints a jab promting Birmiski to slip. Powers then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Birmiski slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Powers thows a left - swing and a miss!
Birmiski takes one to the side of the head.
Powers throws an off balance right hand
and Birmiski counters with a right hand to the body.
A big left from Powers misses.
Powers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Powers drops his hands momentarily and Birmiski takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Powers misses with a double jab
and Birmiski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Powers looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Birmiski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Powers takes a swing at Birmiski's ribcage but misses.
Powers throws a hook but Birmiski avoids it easily.
Powers misses the body punch
and Birmiski counters with a series of strikes. Powers will be more careful next time no doubt.

Birmiski connects with a solid leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Birmiski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Birmiski, as that shot connected.
Powers is still on wobbly legs! Can Birmiski finish him?
Birmiski drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Powers right on the button. Powers goes down! Birmiski follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Birmiski gets the win via TKO!
