That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McCraig crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shields - the referee stops the clock and McCraig gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shields. McCraig manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Melton Sr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Dope counters with a three punch combo that has Joe backing up. Joe nods at Dope to acknowledge the strikes.

and Styles makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Styles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Paterson. Paterson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Styles counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Paterson thinking.
Derric Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Paterson.

The crowd cheers as Styles lands an impressive looking overhand right. Paterson doesn't seem phased though.

Paterson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Styles is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Paterson.

Styles feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paterson's calf.

Paterson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Styles lands a left and a right that send Paterson crashing to the mat, dazed. Styles thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Styles cracks Paterson with a hook to the temple - Paterson is on wobbly legs here! Styles swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Paterson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Styles wins by TKO!
