Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harrison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to sox. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John James! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison has his takedown stuffed and James counters with a nice double leg into guard. James with a nice head shot there. Harrison looking for a guillotine here but James defends easily.
James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. James trying to control but Harrison is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. James stands up over Harrison, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Harrison utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. James is working Harrison over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard.

James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harrison, who protects the arm well. Harrison takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison misses with an elbow from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harrison can't do much from the bottom here. Harrison is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Harrison is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison tries to get back to half guard but can't. James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. James has knee on belly and moves into mount. BOOM! James connects with a massive shot to the dome!
James prevents Harrison from getting the reversal. James working for a submission but Harrison is keeping him at bay. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, James cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

James is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Harrison sees it coming and defends easily. Harrison wants to control but James is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harrison on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James scores with a couple of good hammerfists. James is looking for a kimura here.

James postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Harrison is looking for a triangle but James pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells James's corner. There ya go! There ya go! James throws an elbow that misses. Harrison uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in James's guard. Nice move by Harrison! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harrison defends it easily.

Big trouble for James here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maynard slaps away a takedown attempt from Forrest, before circling back to the center of the mat. Maynard wants to clinch up but Forrest keeps it at a distance. Forrest circles away from the clinch attempt.
Forrest slips a jab and a cross from Maynard.
Maynard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Forrest circles away quickly and effectively. Maynard wants to clinch. Maynard tries to clinch but Forrest moves away and Forrest counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Forrest is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Maynard lands another huge swinging hook and Forrest tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Forrest, before Maynard can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Terry Maynard! Terry Maynard took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Attrick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fritz tries to avoid it but Attrick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fritz to the ground. Fritz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fritz has a takedown stuffed. Attrick looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fritz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Attrick eats them both and turns towards Fritz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Fritz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Attrick swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fritz shoots in for a double leg but Attrick sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fritz tries for a takedown but Attrick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jerry Attrick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casean Fritz. Fritz clinches up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice strikes from Attrick there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Attrick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Attrick looks to score some points with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fritz tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Attrick decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fritz's guard. Fritz keeping moving, preventing Attrick from controlling successfully. Attrick lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Attrick postures up in Fritz's guard and throws a big left but Fritz blocks it. Attrick trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fritz trying to control the position here. Attrick throwing strikes but missing. Attrick working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Attrick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Attrick throws a big right hand that misses. Attrick trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Attrick lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Fritz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fritz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Attrick passes Fritz's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Attrick throwing shots but Fritz is blocking nicely. Attrick looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Attrick looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Attrick perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Attrick landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Attrick in particular looking to stall. Fritz is staying active underneath Attrick, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Attrick controlling the action here. Fritz has one foot on Attrick's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Attrick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Attrick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fritz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Attrick scores with a couple of short elbows. Attrick in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Attrick grinds an elbow into Fritz's temple. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Attrick is chipping away with strikes.
Attrick scoring with punches from side control. Attrick controlling the position. Casean Fritz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Attrick lands a decent elbow from side control. Attrick is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fritz can do to turn this around? Attrick wants to control but Fritz is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fritz takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jerry Attrick showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Attrick, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moorhead sprawls well initially but Lopez persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Moorhead is controlling Lopez 's trapped leg to prevent Lopez from advancing to side control. Moorhead tries to roll over but Lopez keeps him under control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Moorhead looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Moorhead is looking to improve his position.
Lopez tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Moorhead is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lopez pulls his head out easily. Moorhead moves into full guard.
Moorhead working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lopez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moorhead is tightening it up a little... Lopez has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lutiy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Obasi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Obasi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lutiy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Obasi's corner is telling him to maintain position. Obasi pushes down on Lutiy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lutiy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lutiy is in trouble now - Obasi has advanced to mount! Obasi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Obasi prevents Lutiy from getting the reversal. Lutiy throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Lutiy wants to hold on but Obasi pushes him away. Obasi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Obasi working away from the top, dropping strikes. Obasi avoids the attempt from Lutiy to control. Obasi controlling the pace for now. Lutiy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lutiy is looking to improve his position but Obasi isn't that keen on the idea. Lutiy is breathing heavily.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ayila Obasi. Obasi misses with a low kick. Lutiy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Obasi. Lutiy misses with a takedown and Obasi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Obasi sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Obasi advances to half guard. Obasi is figuring out what he wants to do next. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Obasi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lutiy is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
