The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ovrut.

Ovrut has taken the fight to the clinch.
Morrison tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Morrison decides to pull guard.
Ovrut wants to control from the top but Morrison keeps moving.

Morrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ovrut gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ovrut drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ovrut jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Morrison working for a triangle but Ovrut defends it easily.

Morrison is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ovrut defends well.
Ovrut wants to stand but Morrison has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Morrison looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ovrut accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Morrison throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ovrut escapes and throws Morrison's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Ovrut is working to tighten is grip on Morrison's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Morrison has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ovrut is really squeezing tight and eventually Morrison passes out! Ovrut breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
