Ba Lil III seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stinger shoots in but Lil III avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Lil III closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stinger did well to prevent Lil III getting side control.

Stinger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lil III looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lil III looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lil III!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Path.

Taylor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Path sprawls well initially but Taylor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Taylor is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Path flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Path is out cold! Taylor holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Skip Foreplay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peekay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foreplay comes into the arena with Hip to be Square blaring out of the sound system. Williams has chosen Noise Won't Stop as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
