Tentheros changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tentheros is working to tighten is grip on Kent's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kent has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tentheros is really squeezing tight and eventually Kent passes out! Tentheros breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a low kick but it's checked well by de Souza.

Wallace moves into the clinch.
de Souza misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Wallace lands a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Wallace preventing the sweep.
Wallace throws a big elbow that misses.
de Souza wants to sweep but no luck.
Wallace throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace stopping the sweep attempt from de Souza.
de Souza is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Wallace stands up over de Souza, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
de Souza manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wallace manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
de Souza is looking to advance position but Wallace won't allow it.

de Souza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
de Souza scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
de Souza is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wallace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. de Souza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. de Souza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

de Souza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wallace is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

de Souza thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wallace is looking for a sweep.
Wallace is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked de Souza off and has taken his back!
Wallace is trying to stick to de Souza's back but de Souza is turning into Wallace. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wallace's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by de Souza.
de Souza makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Wallace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
de Souza has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
