The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClusky staying out of range there.
James dives in and grabs McClusky's left leg, looking for a takedown. McClusky pushes down on James's head and hops out.
McClusky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling James to counter with a crisp jab.
McClusky throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McClusky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James.
McClusky connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nice defenses there by McClusky.
McClusky misses with the combination.
A slow jab from James misses its intended target.
James with a hook.

James gets a takedown into half guard.
James throwing shots but McClusky is blocking nicely.
James throws a strike but McClusky avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James looking to sit in guard and control but McClusky gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
James wants to sweep here but McClusky controlling him for the moment.

James has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McClusky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

James has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McClusky doesn't defend quickly enough and James has managed to lock this one up! Can McClusky escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to James on a fantastic submission victory.
