The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harkonnen ducks under a wild hook from Infernus.
Harkonnen takes a body punch but keeps moving.

It looks like Gaahl Infernus has been cut.
Infernus misses with a head kick.

Vallee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kendo counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Kendo looking to finish!

Vallee is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vallee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kendo is one step ahead there.
Vallee is still in real trouble! Can Kendo finish him?
Kendo throwing strikes but missing.
Kendo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kendo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Vallee seems to have recovered his senses.
Vallee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kendo circles away.
Vallee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kendo counters with a nice uppercut.
Mo Kendo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Vallee.

and Kendo rattles Vallee with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Vallee tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kendo dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Vallee stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mo Kendo!
A very excited looking Mo Kendo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Lice pounces like a tiger and cracks Nilkka with a vicious hook! Nilkka is down but not out! Lice follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Soininvaara is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Coe has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Soininvaara's face.

That has opened up Osmo Soininvaara's cut even more.
Soininvaara wants to control but Coe is having none of it.
Coe lands a heavy elbow.
Soininvaara tries to reverse the position but Coe maintains control.
Coe raining down shots from the mount!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
BOOM! Coe connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The cut above Osmo Soininvaara's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cy Coe dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Coe circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Soininvaara to the canvas! Soininvaara doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Coe keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
