The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Juarez.
Rocco throws an overhand right that lands on Juarez's shoulder, as Juarez tries to avoid the shot.
Rocco on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Juarez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rocco's head.
Juarez looks to throw the jab but Rocco is out of range.
Juarez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rocco finds it's way round the side to connect with Juarez's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Juarez shoots in for a takedown but Rocco shows good takedown defense.
Juarez throws a head kick that misses.

Rocco closes the distance and clinches.

Juarez pulls guard.

Juarez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rocco doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Juarez is tightening it up a little... Rocco has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rocco reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rocco taps out! Nice BJJ there by Juarez!

Tank throws an overhand right that lands on Fullgraf's shoulder, as Fullgraf tries to avoid the shot.
Tank swings for the body but Fullgraf moves out of range.
Tank thows a left - swing and a miss!

and Tank counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ground and pound from Tank seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Randy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Randy tries to circle away but Hibiki has him pinned against the cage.
Hibiki tries to pull guard but Randy holds him up against the cage and eventually Hibiki drops back down to his feet.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hibiki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Randy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Randy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hibiki throws a nice looking combination but Randy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice takedown defense from Randy. No joy for Hibiki on that attempt.
Paulo Randy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryoga Hibiki.

Hibiki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Randy avoids it really well and circles away.

Randy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hibiki at a distance.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Randy lands with a shot to the body.

Hibiki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hibiki shoots in looking for a takedown. Randy tries to sprawl out of it but Hibiki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Randy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Randy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hibiki.
Randy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Randy throws a series of punches but Hibiki avoids them all with ease.
Donk. Randy catches Hibiki right on the button with a cross.
Randy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hibiki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Randy digs a good body shot into Hibiki's ribs.
Hibiki on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Hibiki dives in and grabs Randy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Randy pushes down on Hibiki's head and hops out.
Hibiki looks gassed!
Hibiki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Randy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hibiki tries to clinch but Randy moves out of range.
Nice body punch from Randy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Randy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Randy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Hibiki is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Randy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hibiki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hibiki is still on wobbly legs! Can Randy finish him?
Hibiki walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Randy swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Paulo Randy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Karelin tries for a takedown but Skarbowsky circles away easily
and Skarbowsky counters with a slapping leg kick.

Skarbowsky gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Karelin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jean Charles Skarbowsky has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Skarbowsky lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Alexander Karelin has been cut.

Karelin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Skarbowsky clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Karelin connects with a big shot to the side of Skarbowsky's head.
Skarbowsky trying to control the position but Karelin manages to sink in the hooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Karelin is cranking Skarbowsky's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Skarbowsky! He's tightened the choke and Skarbowsky is tapping out!
