Well Taalasmaa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lauren has chosen Ring of Fire as his entrance music. Jill Lauren told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Lauren takes the fight into the clinch.
Lauren tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kolano avoids it.
Lauren is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Lauren has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kolano uses from the top position.
Kolano will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lauren has his foot on Kolano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kolano works his way back into a safe position though.

Lauren working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kolano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kolano manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lauren has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kolano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lauren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kolano is aware though and is defending well.

Kolano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lauren has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kolano is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lauren.
Kolano is looking to take a break and control but Lauren is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lauren tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kolano presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
