No luck for Nordberg with that takedown attempt.

Mayer loads up on a big right hand but Bond slips the punch.

Bond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mayer moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bond. Mayer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mayer pounces like a tiger and cracks Bond with a vicious hook! Bond is down but not out! Mayer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Pershiki looks to throw the jab but De Groot is out of range.

De Groot lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Pershiki throws a jab when De Groot was well out of range.
Pershiki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
De Groot tries to clinch there but Pershiki circles away.
Pershiki misses with a low kick.
De Groot misses with an uppercut. Pershiki saw that one coming.
De Groot lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De Groot checks a leg kick.
De Groot works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pershiki gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Pershiki tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but De Groot is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Pershiki buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Pershiki!! Pershiki is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. De Groot throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
