Nice body punch from Quirke.
Quirke uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Weathers has time to react.

Quirke cracks Weathers with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Quirke has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Weathers to stand back up!

Marcus Quirke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weathers is breathing heavily.
Weathers walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Quirke swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Shavers is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Larock rolls with it to try and escape but Shavers cranks on the arm and Larock is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Mouse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brady tries to avoid it but Mouse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brady to the ground. Brady escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Liam Brady has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Mouse.
Mouse takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Brady throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brady rushes Mouse and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Brady has hold of one of Mouse's legs. Mouse is fighting the takedown attempt but Brady gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Brady tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mouse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mouse throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brady counters with a three punch combo that has Mouse backing up. Mouse nods at Brady to acknowledge the strikes.
Mouse fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brady avoids it really well and circles away.
Brady tries to close the distance and clinch but Mouse swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mouse. Brady does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mouse misses with the combination.

Brady dives in and scores a takedown into Mouse's guard.
Brady stays in close to Mouse's body and controls the position.
Brady looking to sit in guard and control but Mouse gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mouse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brady trying to keep a closed guard but Mouse is proving a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
